Application Due: Grant Review Volunteers Needed

The ARW (Application Review Workgroup) is a citizen workgroup that reviews and recommends grant applications. Currently, the group is seeking reviewers to volunteer their time to read and score grants funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Community Support Services Grant (CSSG) programs.
Applications for volunteers are now being accepted for the 2021 grant program year and will be due by October 2, 2020.

The reviewers should live in Carson to ensure they have a vested interest in the programs and the funding. Reviewers help make well-informed decisions, so it’s vital that they are clear and objective, providing well-justified comments and constructive criticism.
