Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behavior

| $20.00Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias can cause a person to act in di erent and unpredictable ways. Some individuals with Alzheimer’s may become anxious
or aggressive; other repeat questions or gestures. These types of reactions can lead to misunderstanding, frustration or tension between the person with dementia and the caregiver. This presentation covers possible behavioral changes and ways to respond should they occur.
This class is open to the public and it has been approved for 2 CE credits from the Nursing & Social Work Boards.
