What I like to tell people about myself is that I am not a victim but a survivor. I’m a living, breathing story of recovery. I know what it’s like. I’ve been there. I was raised in Hawthorne and, while Walker Lake is one of my favorite places, growing up in a small community is tough. Now, each day I work to maintain what I have accomplished while constantly looking forward. Being part of this team is everything. For the first time in my life, I sincerely love who I am. I’m inspired by the lives we are impacting. And now that I’m raising my daughter, what I get to be part of is so much more than I would have dreamed.
